Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 stick oleo
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 large can coconut
    4 eggs (2 without whites)
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs for 2 minutes, then add softened oleo. Beat until mixed well.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to mixture.
    Stir dry ingredients together and add to mixture along with the vanilla. Cook in three layers at 350\u00b0.
    Cook until cake springs back in center.
