Pinto Bean Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pinto beans, cooked (without seasonings), drained and mashed
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    1/4 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Bake in unbaked pie shell at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes (until knife comes out clean).
    Top with egg white meringue, Cool Whip or whipped cream topping.
    This is a real surprise.
