Cheese Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    7 medium apples, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and salt, cut in butter until coarse; mix in cheese and set aside.
    Mix water and lemon juice.
    Pour over apples and toss.
    Place in 8-inch square pan.
    Spread topping over apples and pat down.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve warm.
