Yummy Yummy Year Round Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. unsweetened raw fruit (any kind except strawberries)
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put raw fruit in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add the milk, alternately with the flour, baking powder and salt, which have been sifted together.
    Put over raw fruit, then combine the topping and put over cake batter.
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over all.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes, or until cake and fruit are done.
    Serves 9.
