Orange Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. or 2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and stir over low heat until melted.
    Allow to cool to room temperature.
    Add buttermilk and Cool Whip.
    Mix well and stir in pecans.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Refrigerate overnight.
