Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 large onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    2 c. cold, boiled potatoes, diced
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, cut corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in top of double boiler over direct heat.
    Add onion.
    Cook slowly until soft but not golden.
    Blend in flour. Add milk gradually.
    Stir until slightly thickened.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Place pan over boiling water for 20 minutes, stirring from time to time.
    Makes 8 servings.
