Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 c. almonds
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. coconut
    3 c. mashed Rice Krispies
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan and brown almonds.
    Add sugar, Rice Krispies and coconut.
    Mix. Put 1/2 of mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread softened ice cream over it.
    Top with remaining mixture.
    Freeze.
    Remove from freezer just before eating so it will be ready by dessert time.
