Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 to 5 c. flour
    1 egg (no matter how many pretzels are made)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except for flour and egg.
    Add flour to form stiff dough.
    Knead 10 minutes.
    Shape; roll into a rope. Place on greased pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
    Brush each pretzel with beaten egg.
    Put coarse salt (Crazy Jane's) on each pretzel.
