Anita'S Blend Of The Bayou - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 stick oleo
    2 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
    2 onions, chopped
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    1 stick oleo (saute vegetables)
    10 ribs celery, chopped
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated, sliced or chopped (for top of casserole)
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 or more tsp. red pepper (hot to taste)
    1 pt. crab meat (optional)
    4 c. cooked rice
    1 c. cracker meal or cracker crumbs (approximately)
Preparation
    Melt cream cheese and 1 stick oleo in microwave.
    Saute shrimp and vegetables in 1 stick of oleo.
    Add to first mixture.
    Add golden mushroom soup, seasoning and rice; mix well.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Top with cheese and cracker meal or crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly hot. Serves 10 to 12 people.
