Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter (margarine)
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chips (may use butterscotch, peanut butter or chocolate)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan.
    Or may melt in microwave.
    Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir into butter mixture.
    Spread batter evenly in a 9-inch square pan (for thinner cookies use a 9 1/2 x 13-inch pan).
    Butter pan well first. Sprinkle chips over top.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool completely before cutting.
