Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. flavoring (1/2 vanilla and 1/2 lemon)
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine and sugar.
    Beat egg whites in a bowl.
    Add milk, flour and baking powder alternately in creamed butter and sugar.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Grease 2 loaf pans and pour in batter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 minutes.
