Eggnog For A Party - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    12 egg yolks
    2 c. dark rum, brandy, bourbon or rye
    2 qt. whipping cream
    8 to 12 egg whites
    grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat yolks until light in color.
    Beat in sugar gradually.
    Add slowly the liquor chosen.
    Beat constantly.
    Let stand 1 hour. Beat 2 to 4 cups liquors and the whipping cream.
    Refrigerate, covered, for 3 hours.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
