Refrigerator Pickles(Bread And Butter Type) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. sliced (not peeled) cucumbers
3 onions, sliced
4 c. sugar
4 c. white vinegar
1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 c. plain salt

Preparation

Toss cucumbers and onions together and place in a gallon container with tight-fitting lid.
