Crunchy Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 Tsp. white vinegar
    1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped onion
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Combine gelatin and boiling water, stir 2 minutes or until gelatin dissolves.
    Stir in vinegar.
    Cover and chill the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
    Fold in mayonnaise and next 4 ingredients.
    Pour mixture into a lightly oiled 4-cup mold and cover with aluminum foil.
    Chill until firm.
    Mold onto a lettuce-lined plate.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
