Ingredients

6 to 8 onions, sliced
1/4 c. butter or oleo
4 cans beef broth
1 can water (1 1/4 c.)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
Mozzarella cheese, cubed
toasted rolls or croutons
Preparation

In saucepan, cook onions in oleo about 20 minutes.
Add broth, water, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
Bring to boil; simmer 5 minutes.
Ladle into bowls.
Top with toast.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Place under broiler or in microwave to melt cheese.
