Speedy Banana Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cream or milk
    1 cap vanilla (approximately)
    mild vinegar
Preparation
    Stir first 3 ingredients; cook over medium heat until thick. Add the vanilla; thin with mild vinegar, if necessary.
    Slice bananas lengthwise; spread with peanut butter.
    Pour cooled sauce over bananas for an after school treat, a dessert or on lettuce leaves.
    Makes an interesting salad.
