Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. liquid shortening
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix together until smooth.
Bake in greased and floured cake pan (9-inch round or 8-inch square) 20-25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
