Nine Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage, chopped
2 stalks celery, diced
2 medium onions, diced
1 green pepper, diced
pimentos (optional)
1 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine chopped cabbage, onions and green pepper.
Add 1 cup sugar and blend well.
Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and allow to cool.
Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 1 day before serving.
Stays fresh and crisp for 9 days.
