Smothered Round Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 round steaks
    1 onion
    1 bell pepper
    3 sticks celery
    cooking oil
    seasonings to taste
Preparation
    Brown steak in small amount of cooking oil in large skillet. When brown, set steak aside and then brown onion, pepper and celery.
    Cut steaks into serving portions and add to cooking pot with 3 to 5 cups boiling water, then add other ingredients and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer on low heat for about 2 1/2 hours. Add enough water to keep steak covered if necessary.
    Juice may be used as gravy.
