Cold Spiced Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 orange (unpeeled), sliced and seeded
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (29 oz.) can pears
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3 sticks cinnamon
    5 whole cloves
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
Preparation
    Cut orange slices in half; place in water and simmer until rind is tender.
    Drain well.
    Drain canned fruit; reserve all pineapple juice, half of apricot and peach juice.
    Combine juices, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, cloves and jello.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Pour over mixed fruit.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
