Blackberry Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg
1 c. blackberries
Preparation

Sprinkle berries with little of flour.
Add remaining flour with other dry ingredients; melt butter and combine with milk and beaten egg yolk.
Mix dry and liquid mixtures quickly and fold in stiffly beaten egg white.
Drop by spoonfuls into greased muffin tins.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Yields 12 to 15 muffins.
