Pretzel Pandemonium - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely crushed pretzel sticks
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
    2 c. marshmallows (optional)
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced strawberries
Preparation
    Combine pretzels, margarine and sugar.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes; cool.
    Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and egg.
    Mix well.
    Fold in whipped cream. Spread in crust and chill.
    Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water; add strawberries.
    Chill until partially set.
    Pour over cream cheese layer.
    Chill until firm.
