Tostado Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic
4 tsp. chili powder
1 c. water
12 to 16 oz. salsa or taco sauce
12 flour tortillas
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 lb. Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
1 can refried beans (optional)

Preparation

Brown meat and onion.
Add salt, pepper, garlic, chili powder and water.
Simmer 10 minutes.
