Italian Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. wide noodles, uncooked
    8 oz. pkg. Mozzarella
Preparation
    Saute onions and green peppers in butter.
    Brown ground beef and pour off grease.
    Add garlic salt, onions and peppers.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.
    Cook until boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
    Pour half of the beef mixture into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Top with noodles.
    Add the remaining beef mixture and top with cheese, making sure all noodles are covered.
    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to one hour.
