Applesauce Squares Or Diamonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. nuts, dates and raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix in order given and bake in a large cookie sheet type pan at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Ice with a maple flavored icing or serve plain.
