Coconut Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped black walnuts or can use pecans or walnuts
1 c. coconut
2 tsp. coconut extract
Coconut Syrup
Preparation

Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients alternately. Add rest of ingredients and beat well.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Pour hot Coconut Syrup over hot cake in pan.
Allow cake to remain in pan 4 hours to absorb syrup.
