Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    5 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients together thoroughly.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt together and stir in.
    Chill dough; roll in size of walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet, 15 balls per sheet.
    Bake until light brown, but still soft at 400\u00b0 for 7 minutes.
    Makes approximately 9 dozen.
