Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped tomatoes, cooked
    salt and black pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. crumbled bread
    1/4 stick butter
Preparation
    Cook tomatoes; season with salt, black pepper, sugar and onion.
    Add bread and butter.
    Stew in saucepan until all is tender and thickened.
    Serve.
