Country Ham - cooking recipe

country ham
5 c. water
1/2 c. molasses
Preparation

Soak ham overnight in water.
Cook in pan that seals tight or wrap in heavy-duty foil.
Put 5 cups of water, molasses and ham together and wrap tightly in foil.
Put in cold oven; heat to 500\u00b0.
Turn off oven and let set for 3 hours.
Do not open oven. After 3 hours turn oven back on and heat to 500\u00b0.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Turn oven off and let set in oven for 12 hours or overnight.
Do not open oven until 12 hours are up.
