Baked Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pears
    1 large can peaches
    1 (No. 3) can pitted dark cherries
    1 (No. 3) can peeled apricots
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. rum
Preparation
    Drain all fruit, reserving 1/2 cup apricot juice.
    Pour fruit into casserole dish.
    Lay 2 large fresh strawberries on top. Sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar on top of fruit.
    Mix 1/2 cup apricot juice with 1/2 cup rum and pour over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serve warm.
    (You may mix ingredients together the night before and bake the following day.)
