Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
10 c. water
3 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
6 qt. sliced apples
Preparation
-
Combine all ingredients, except lemon juice and apples, in a large kettle.
Cook until thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
