Coconut-Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Mix evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat about 12 minutes or until thick.
Stir in coconut and pecans.
Beat until thick enough to spread.
Frost cooled cake immediately.
Makes 2 1/2 cups frosting.
