    1 egg
    1/4 c. lard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Bake in a square 8-inch cake pan for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
