White Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter or oleo and blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk, gradually, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, then cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
    Place over hot water to keep warm and cover tightly to prevent film from forming.
    Makes about 1 cup of sauce.
