Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. soda
1 unbaked pie crust
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
butter, size of a walnut
Preparation

Mix molasses, boiling water and soda; pour into bottom of unbaked pie crust.
Blend flour, brown sugar and butter by rubbing together with hands.
Sprinkle lightly over molasses mixture. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 45 minutes or until crumbs are brown. Liquid will cook through crumbs, making a cake like texture. Serve warm with whipped cream.
