Chili Pecan Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. processed American cheese
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
    1/4 tsp. instant garlic
    1/16 tsp. ground red pepper
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Bring cheeses to room temperature; mix together until well blended.
    Add next 6 ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Shape into rolls 4-inches long and 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
    Chill 30 minutes. Roll each in chili powder and wrap in foil.
    Chill until firm. Cut into slices 1/2-inch thick and serve on round crackers. Yields about 3 dozen canapes.
