Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Slice butter into large bowl over the flour.
Cut into small pieces.
Add buttermilk and blend well.
Knead dough.
Cut out biscuits and place on baking sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until done. Yields about 24 biscuits.
