Leona'S Creamed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. frozen green peas
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 small yellow onion
    2 Tbsp. pimientos
    4 oz. chicken broth
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook broth and peas in 2-quart pan.
    Bring to boil for 2 minutes.
    Pan-fry onions in butter.
    Add flour and whipping cream and pimientos.
    Add to chicken broth and peas.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and cook on medium heat for about 3 minutes.
