Pioneer Corn Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground lean beef
    1 can whole kernel corn
    2 cans tomato soup
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can green beans (optional)
Preparation
    Saute onion and green peppers in butter over low heat until tender in 5-quart Dutch oven or stew pan.
    Add beef and cook slowly until beef browns.
    Add corn, tomato soup, sugar and salt. Simmer gently until the stew is thoroughly heated.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
