Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 large sweet potatoes
9 to 16 oz. crushed pineapple (undrained)
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
pepper
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
dash of allspice
Preparation

Boil sweet potatoes just until tender; peel.
In medium bowl, mash potatoes.
Stir in pineapple to taste, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper.
Spoon into 1-quart ungreased casserole.
Combine remaining butter with bread crumbs, brown sugar and allspice. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven, 45 minutes.
Approximately 6 servings, 360 calories each.
