Oven Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients

18 c. unsweetened applesauce (I make my own)
1 c. apple cider
4 c. sugar
6 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ground cloves

Preparation

Pour everything into a large roasting pan and mix thoroughly. Bake at 300\u00b0 for at least 3 to 4 hours until as dark and as thick as desired.
Makes approximately 15 pints.
