Seafood Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1 small jar chopped pimento
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1 1/2 lb. crab meat
    1 lb. shrimp
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in shortening.
    Add pimento, mushrooms, crab meat and shrimp.
    Heat; stir in seasoning, rice and soup.
    Place into buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle with almonds. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 12.
