Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/8 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening as for pie dough. Stir in buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Blend thoroughly and knead lightly.
Set at room temperature to rise.
Roll out on floured board and cut out like biscuits.
Place on greased pan and let rise.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
