My Grandmother'S Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. hot water
1 egg, beaten
1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
3 1/2 to 4 c. plain flour
Preparation

Combine shortening, sugar, salt and hot water.
Let stand until shortening melts.
Add egg.
Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water and add to first mixture.
Add flour and let rise until double in bulk.
Work down and roll out.
Cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise again.
Bake at 325\u00b0.
