"Old Hearty" Cottage Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. cooked macaroni
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard (Dragon Tongue is best)
    2 c. (or so) fresh, frozen or canned corn
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Saute onion.
    Add ground beef and cook, stirring, until brown. Add other ingredients and simmer, covered, at the back of wood stove or in a 325\u00b0 oven until flavors have mingled and swimmers are dry.
    May be doubled or tripled.
