Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. or 6 1/2 lb. tomatoes, peeled, cored and cut up before measuring
2/3 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. curry powder
5 tsp. salt
2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Preparation

Put tomatoes and onion through food chopper.
Put in large heavy pot.
Add all other ingredients.
Boil 2 to 3 hours until thick, stirring frequently.
Be careful of settling to bottom and sticking if you don't stir often enough.
Have heat just high enough so it bubbles constantly.
