Honey Spice Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1 egg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour, soda, salt and spices.
    Set aside.
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Beat in honey and egg.
    Beat extra well.
    Gradually add dry ingredients.
    Chill.
    This is important.
    Shape dough into small balls.
    Dip each one in water and then in sugar.
    Place sugar side up on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Remove from cookie sheet at once.
