Cheese Cake Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pastry shell
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine the first 5 ingredients; beat at low speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
Pour into pastry shell.
Sprinkle evenly with pecans.
Combine the beaten eggs and remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Spoon over pecan layer.
Bake on the lowest rack for 35 minutes or until set. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
