Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 dashes salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    1 large egg, beaten
    1 c. milk or milk substitute
    1 c. bran
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil (not corn)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
    Make a well in the center.
    In a different bowl, mix milk or milk substitute with bran.
    Let stand until most of the moisture is absorbed.
    Add oil, sugar and beaten egg to bran mixture and stir until mixed.
    Pour into well-lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
