Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. fresh carrots
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
Preparation

Clean and cook carrots; cut lengthwise into 3/8-inch strips. Cook and stir brown sugar, salt and orange peel in margarine in 12-inch skillet until bubbly.
Add carrots; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed and heated through, about 5 minutes.
Makes about 6 servings; 110 calories per serving.
